"My husband and I are from Jacksonville, Florida and recently built a new home. we had the front yard landscaped professionally but it still needed something else. I had always wanted a big Magnolia tree so after speaking with Don (knowing his reputation and also being a good friend) he came up with the idea of placing a granite rock (to the tune of 360 pounds) next to it in the front yard with our address only. My husband was in the Chicago area and went to 'Down to Earth, Inc.' and picked out a rock he really liked and thought cut and polished would look wonderful in the yard, matching the color of the stucco on our home and so forth. Don asked what font I wanted and it was that simple. Two weeks later it was shipped and arrived at our house and is absolutely beautiful and perfect. It looked gorgeous. I cannot tell you how many compliments on a weekly basis I get. I have had perfect strangers come to the door asking where they could get one! I keep telling Don he needs to come down one day and open a business in N.E. Florida. I cannot say enough about his company, his hard work, not to mention the excellent quality of his work. It is amazing. He delivers when he promises and if you were ever to be unhappy he would correct the problem immediately. I wish we weren't so far away but I guarantee I could describe what I wanted on the phone and I would still get exactly what I wanted. I recommend 'Down to Earth, Inc.' to anyone looking for unusual stone options for their home. We live in an area where these type places are everywhere but we would still never go to anywhere but Down to Earth, Inc."

Dear Mr. Down,
My Eagle Scout project is finally done! With your help I was able to complete one of the most ambitious projects any scout in my troop has ever done. As you can see in the pictures, the weed patch was successfully landscaped with a pond as the centerpiece. I could not have done this with out your help.
Everything that you have done for this project has been greatly appreciated. There is no way that the pond would even be there if you had not taken such an interest in the project. Thank you for being the biggest contributor for my project. With any luck, this pond will be around to be enjoyed for many years to come.

Hi, This is Michael Prete from Boy Scout troop 408. You donated sand to me for my eagle project and it helped greatly.
